Jon has worked as a professional photographer on newspaper for all of his working life, from the North West Evening Mail in Barrow-in-Furness to the Bolton Evening News and then up to Scotland where he became chief photographer at the Edinburgh Evening News and then Scotland on Sunday. After becoming a freelancer he now works for a varied and extensive list of clients. Jon had covered a massive number of different editorial news stories from the Poll Tax riots to Scottish Devolution and the opening of The Scottish Parliament.He has photographed many members of the Royal Family including Princess Di, HMR Prince Charles the Duke of Edinburgh and The Queen, during her frequent visits to Scotland.
